My new computer continued

I called my son Joe and we tried most everything.  Dressed in my grubby work clothes I drove 150 miles to the nearest Apple Store.  It was in San Antonio.  The Apple store was in an upscale shopping complex.  I expected a small quiet store.  I was wrong.  There were banks of computers.  The place was swarming with customers as well as salespeople.  I found one in a blue shirt and told him my problem.  He asked if I had an appointment with a technician.  I explained that I had driven 150 miles and had no appointment.  It took about an hour before I had a new wireless keyboard and had purchased a keyboard and mouse with cords.  Backup and the hassle factor are important when you live in such an isolated remote area.   I returned home in time to watch the sunset.  My computer found the new keyboard and I was back in business or so I thought.
