More on Saigon

Saigon was a busy city.  The traffic was terrible.  The shopping was fantastic.   I have never been a fan of designer purchases but one of my fellow travelers convinced me to go shopping with her because I never hesitated to bargain.  She was shopping for designer purses for her daughter-in-law.   Sensing a bargain I did manage to purchase some Prada wallets for women and some Gucci wallets for men.  And then I spied a watch stall and purchased a fake Rolex for $20.  It was lovely and I have received many compliments on my Rolex.   After touring the city I had an afternoon free and since my bags were full of purchases I went to a beauty spa and for $40 had a pedicure, a manicure, a shampoo and blow dry and a massage.  It was a delightful afternoon.  The flight home was long with an extended layover in Seoul, Korea.
